folding bike by KHS(the website does not have my exact model, but close enough). You can easily fold it up in half from the middle of the bike frame and put it in the trunk of most mid-size sedan (and maybe compact car too, but I haven't tried). It's also always allowed on the Metro trains. For buses, it depends on the ridership level.
